Bedham
When we arrived on a misty autumn morning, it was easy to see why some people consider these woods to be enchanted. The sight of an abandoned church hidden in the trees was definitely an eerie sight, but as the sun broke through the mist we discovered miles of quiet woodland that is perfect for peaceful family walks.
Waggoners Wells
The short walk here always seems to take us hours as the children are so busy feeding the ducks, climbing the tree trunks, splashing in the ford, making dens and enjoying what feels like one natural playground to them.
Winkworth Arboretum
Visit the landscaped arboretum to see the colours change with each season. If you walk here in autumn, you will witness the glory of shades of gold, amber and red. Walk here in spring to see carpets of bluebells.
Bramshott Common and Waggoners Wells
Not far from the A3, Bramshott Common is an easy place to explore with the family and just next door, the National Trust manage Waggoners Wells with it’s three ponds. This walk includes both areas and is particularly enjoyable in the Autumn.
