Odiham and King John’s Castle
A walk along the Basingstoke canal never disappoints and this one has some bonus features such as a waterside pub, a ford to paddle in and the free to entre ruins of King John’s Castle.
Arundel Park
There are plenty of reasons for making a visit to the attractive West Sussex town of Arundel and this walk around Arundel Park, taking in Swanbourne Lake and Hirone Tower is definitely one of them.
Farnham Park
Farnham park is so much more than just a park. Despite being a moments walk from the town centre, you have have a real feeling of being in the countryside as you walk around this 600 year old deer park. We made a return to Chilbolton Cow Common where the girls paddled in the River Test under the winter sun.

We couldn’t turn down the offer to try a roast dinner at The Exchequer. Find it on one of our Basingstoke canal walks.
