Crab and Go!

With the summer holidays upon us, now is the best time to enjoy a coastal walk. In this collection, we share some of the best spots on the South Coast for crabbing and walking.

How to crab responsibly:

  • Place the crabs in seawater only and refresh the water.

  • Do not overcrowd the bucket - 3 crabs max.

  • Keep the bucket in the shade.

  • Return the crabs to the exact place you caught them.

  • Place, rather than ‘throw’ them back.

  • Add some pebbles and seaweed to the bucket.

  • Do not use hooks.

  • If they are fighting, please separate them immediately.
