Children will enjoy just about everything on the Discovery Land trail including the natural climbing frames, mazes and fairy houses. I think this is the only walk we have ever done where they were begging to go around again!

Time: The walk itself takes no more than 30 mins, but expect it to take a few hours in reality with so many distractions along the way.

An entrance fee is required to enjoy The Discovery Trail at Priory Farm near Redhill, but it is worth every penny to experience this nature walk set in woodland and meadows with play structures and other surprise around every corner.

 

The Route

The trail is very well signposted an easy to follow. Highlights along the way include:

  • Sunflower maze (seasonal)

  • Fairy nursery

  • Fairy wing swing

  • Various wooden houses and even a castle

  • Giant’s chair

  • Nature classroom

  • Lake with hungry fish to purchase food for

  • Tractors to sit on

  • Enormous wooden spider

  • Wobbly bridge

  • Resident guinea fowl

  • Sand pit

  • Bluebells (seasonal)

  • Halloween activities (seasonal)


Did you know?
