Broadwater Park & The Godalming Navigation
Broadwater Park has plenty to keep families with a play area, ducks to feed, a lake to walk around and waffles to try. But just across the road is The Godalming Navigation, which makes a walk here even more interesting as you can watch the barges traverse the locks.
Holybourne
Holybourne is an attractive village on the outskirts of Alton. There is a great play area, family-friendly pub, duckpond and a network of paths in the surrounding fields.
Southwater Country Park
Cripplegate Lake is at the centre of Southwater Country Park near Horsham. It has a paddling beach and a Dinosaur Island adventure play area.
Elsted and Wild Combe Camping
A small and peaceful south downs village, a traditional country pub, far-reaching views and an off grid campsite. This corner of West Sussex near Midhurst is an absolute gem!
St. Martha’s Hill
With a commanding hillside position accessed only by footpaths, St Martha’s Church is a perfect place to pause and picnic. Our guide has a host of interesting extensions you can add to you visit.
Church Norton
Pagham Harbour is a nature reserve on one of the few undeveloped stretches of the Sussex coastline. It is a wildlife haven and contains important habitats for birds and even seals! Our walk also includes a large, quiet shingle beach.
Stockbridge Common Marsh
Nestled in the Test Valley, Stockbridge is a charming little town with streets lined with independent shops and eateries. The clear waters of The Test, filtered through chalk, make their way through Common Marsh, which can be accessed directly from the high street.
Runnymede
Runnymede, the birthplace of modern democracy, is now a beautiful open space of meadows beside The River Thames. The area is managed by The National Trust and throughout the site, you can find various art installations and memorials. Riverside walks connect you to the pleasure grounds.
