Stoke Park Wood
Surrounded by residential areas on three sides, you might be surprised by just how peaceful and beautiful this large woodland is. Take a walk among the bluebells in spring or bring your bikes and enjoy the multi use trails in summer.
Wilverley Inclosure
If you are looking for a place to take the family for a walk in the New Forest, then Wilverley Inclosure makes an excellent choice with its firm, waymarked paths, toilets and a picnic area.
Windsor Great Park
Windsor Great Park is an ancient Royal landscape where you can find walks to suit every taste through grassland, woodland, lakes and gardens. There are cafes, play areas, picnic areas and historical monuments dotted throughout and a rather magnificent adventure play area due to be completed soon.
Moors Valley Country Park
The play trail may only be a mile long, but expect it to take you a couple of hours to walk, for along the way are nine incredible wooden play structures that will enchant children of all ages. Moors Valley Country Park is right on the Hampshire/Dorset border and is host to an exceptional amount of forest attractions, most of which are free.
Farnham Park
Farnham park is so much more than just a park. Despite being a moments walk from the town centre, you have have a real feeling of being in the countryside as you walk around this 600 year old deer park. Find streams, ponds, woodland, grassland, avenues, adventure play and even a free-to-enter castle keep.
Thursley Common
Snaking its way from Moat Pond to Pudmore Pond across the lowland heath and marshes, the beautiful wooden boardwalk at Thursley Common appears to actually enhance the already spectacular natural scenery. If you want a longer walk, follow our route to the village with pub and play area.
