The Sculpture Park
You will need to pay an entry fee for this truly unique walk which is an incredible way to get some exercise and also get the whole family enjoying and talking about art. The sculptures are placed throughout the trails and you will find ones to suit every taste.
Eyeworth Pond
Eyeworth pond was created in 1871 to supply water to a nearby gunpowder factory, but these days it is a good spot for a picnic and to spot birds atop the lily pad covered water.
Bishop’s Waltham
Start this walk with an exploration of the palace grounds and you will find there is still plenty remaining of this once grand residence. The walk then heads along a disused railway, across farmland and back to the town’s pond.
Benbow Pond
An easy walk around a section of the Cowdray Estate near Midhurst, with some interesting historical trees as well as a pond with ducks, geese and black swans to feed.

This paddling and pub walk at Fishbourne Meadows got a route revamp to take out some of the muddier fields.
-
Rural Strides invited us to come on a guided night walk on The South Downs. It was an incredible experience and we learnt lots about the night sky. If you want to join Rural Strides on their next night walk, you can register your interest below.
