Home Farm

Near Bentworth, between Alton and Basingstoke, Home Farm is a landscape of meadows and woodland with butterflies and red kites soaring overhead. Surprisingly, much of this wildlife haven was actually created by carefully managed regeneration of cultivated land over the last 30 years.

What’s new?

  • Early morning was the perfect time to check in on the bluebells at Nore Wood. They were even better than we remembered.

  • The bluebells at Stoke Wood near Chichester are at full bloom and looking as gorgeous as ever

  • The blossom in the churchyard at Boxgrove was looking outstanding when we passed through on the Windmill Trail

  • This walk at Thursley Common has always been a popular one, but now we have made it even better with directions on how to reach a pub and play area.

  • There have been some significant changes to the play trail at Alice Holt Forest. It now features six incredibly crafted marble run stations.

  • The cafe on this walk at Itchenor has a new look in time for spring. You can find it overlooking the boatyard and Chichester harbour National Landscape.
