Church Norton
Pagham Harbour is a nature reserve on one of the few undeveloped stretches of the Sussex coastline. It is a wildlife haven and contains important habitats for birds and even seals! Our walk also includes a large, quiet shingle beach.
Titchfield Haven
The Meon River completes its journey at Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve, a 369 acre site of river, fen, pools, reedbed and meadows. There are eight bird hides from which to enjoy the wide variety of wildlife, and on the east side they are connected by a series of boardwalks. Tickets need to be purchased from the visior centre.
Avon Heath Country Park
There is plenty to keep children busy here all day with an excellent play park and hands-on nature exhibits, as well as trails across the heath where you will see the park in its full glory with purple heather, silver sandy paths and wildlife-filled ponds.
Pagham Harbour
Pagham Harbour is a nature reserve on one of the few undeveloped stretches of the West Sussex coast and it is an internationally important wetland site for wildlife.
Testwood Lakes
Testwood Lakes is a wildlife haven on the edge of Southampton. You would never guess how close you are to the M27 while you are enjoying easy paths around the beautiful nature reserve.
Chichester Marina
Ideally placed at the entrance to the marina, the Boat House Café has seating looking out across the harbour. You can make your way there, whilst admiring the boats, along flat, paved paths.
Fishlake Meadows
Fishlake Meadows is a wetland nature reserve in the southern Test Valley, just outside Romsey. There is a wealth of wildlife to be found here from osprey to dragonflies to water voles.
