Nutbourne

What I love about a walk in Chichester Harbour AONB is that the views change entirely depending on whether the tide is in or out. Whichever you get on this walk, both will be stunning.

Beacon Hill

You cannot miss this walk if you are a fan of Downton Abbey as the view from the top of this iron age hill fort has views to Highclere Castle. These have to be the most far reaching views we have found in Hampshire, and you can enjoy them in every direction.

What’s new?

  • It was a rather chilly day to be updating this New Forest walk near Burley, but we got some lovely photos of the frozen Whitten Ponds. This walk has pushchair and bike friendly options.

  • We couldn’t turn down the offer to try a roast dinner at The Exchequer, near Hook. Find the family and god friendly pub on one of our Basingstoke canal walks.

  • This paddling and pub walk at Fishbourne Meadows got a route revamp to take out some of the muddier fields.

  • Rural Strides invited us to come on a guided night walk on The South Downs. It was an incredible experience and we learnt lots about the night sky. If you want to join Rural Strides on their next night walk, you can register your interest below.
