Abinger Roughs
This is a linear walk that features plenty of things to keep young walkers motivated from ancient trees, a tea-room, riverside pubs with play areas, a natural woodland play area, a village playground, a paddling spot and a farm shop.
St. Martha’s Hill
With a commanding hillside position accessed only by footpaths, St Martha’s Church is a perfect place to pause and picnic. Our guide has a host of interesting extensions you can add to you visit.
Chilworth Gunpowder Mills
Hidden among the trees beside the River Tillingbourne are the remnants of our industrial heritage. As well as uncovering the ruins from the gunpowder mills, children can also find a paddling area in one of the old waterways.
Chiddingfold
Chiddingfold is a gorgeous Surrey Hills village with fine homes and a timber framed pub set around a large green. Our walk starts from the recreation ground with small play area and heads across farmland and bluebell woodland with river a river running through.
Chantries
The Chantries or Chantry Wood, is a well known place to enjoy bluebells in Surrey and it isn’t hard to see why. The display here is breath-taking. Added to this, the elevated position of the wood means there is an option to take in viewpoints giving vistas across the Surrey Hills.
