With some of the most glorious views we have seen in Hampshire, this walk would be treat enough in its own right. But when you add on refreshments from the destination café and bar that is The Dell, it becomes a absolute showstopper!

The River Meon, which children and dogs can access at the water meadows, flows through the large village of Wickham. Our walk follows a section of the Meon Valley Trail and passes by this popular spot.

This walk is a little different to all our others as you can only do it on four days of the year! Luckily, the carpets of snowdrops found at Warnford Park, in the Meon Valley, are well worth the wait

Starting out on the disused railway track of the Meon Line, this walk then circles round to the riverside village of Warnford where children can play and paddle at the rural park.

East Meon is a lovely village near the source of the River Meon. It boasts two excellent pubs and some beautiful downland for walking.

This is a gem of a walk starting out beside a beautiful old village church (and pub!) with access to The River Meon via a peaceful little nature reserve.

This was one of the very first walks that we included on The Ambling Path and despite having walked over 130 more family walks since, this remains a firm favourite due to the easy route and the opportunities to access the River Meon.

Part of The Forest of Bere, Upperford Copse is one of the best places in Hampshire to see bluebells in the Spring. This short and easy walk will circumnavigate the copse.
