Hampshire Surrey West Sussex
Horsell Common
Horsell Common has a mixture of landscapes, all of which can be explored on this walk. You will find yourself crossing rivers, wetlands, meadows, woodland and sandy heath. The walk starts and finishes at Heather Farm Cafe which overlooks the wetlands. Children will love playing at the huge natural sandpit half-way around.
Farnham Heath
Enjoy the beauty of Farnham Heath with views across the Weald whilst following the Heathland Artworks trail.
South Gorley
Meet the animals at Hockey’s Farm Shop & Café, a family run business in the New Forest, before embarking on a circular walk across the heath with views over Chibden Bottom.
Lightwater Country Park
Many families come to Lightwater Country Park for the play area, café, ponds and adventure golf, but there is much more to this park. Heathland walks take you to a viewpoint where you can see as far as the London skyline.
Rockford Common
At the far western edge of Hampshire is this must do walk for families with a huge sandpit to explore, a ford to paddle in and a lakeside pub with an excellent play area.
Hazeley Heath
A longer walk, that packs in an awful lot. Starting from a beautiful country pub, the walk follows Hazeley Heath towards Hartley Wintney. You will find views of historic houses, quiet ponds, a woodland play area and remnants of WW2 tank training.
